Elevate Assisting Program

This is a 2-Day Intensive Training

  • Saturday March 10th 11am-4pm - Lunch from 1:30-2pm
  • Sunday March 11th 11am-4pm - Lunch from 1:30-2pm

This program is designed for people who want to experience the gift of giving within their community. As yogis, we strive to incorporate seva (selfless service) into our daily lives. The act of serving within our yoga community is not just an opportunity to show love to others, it is also incredibly fulfilling. Want to know more about seva? Click Here.

In this training, you will experience giving and receiving hands-on assists and adjustments, and you will discover why this connection is magic. With lots of practice, you will learn how your assists will help people to better FEEL the poses in their bodies. You will develop intuition as well as knowledge of the proper alignment of the poses. With this intuition and a deeperunderstanding of yoga, you will create connection.

This is open to everyone! Whether you just want a deeper understanding of yoga, the poses, alignment and hands on assists or you want to take these skills and put them into action, this program is designed for all to learn and connect. We highly recommend this program to current yoga teachers, aspiring yoga teachers, or those interested in assisting in classes - This is an important part of being an instructor and we want you to feel comfortable and confident giving assists to your students.

You have the options to choose from:

  • Just the Training - $200 (includes 2-Day Training & Elevate Assisting Handbook)

  • Training to be Elevate Certified - $250 (includes 2-Day Training, Elevate Assisting Handbook, Peer Assist Test-Out & Elevate Approved, Certificate of Completion, and opportunity to assist at our studio! If this interests you, read below

Become Elevate Certified! We want to make sure that our assists are benefiting our students. Before we go out into the world to share our newfound love of touch, it is important that we aren't causing harm to our students unknowingly and have experienced feedback to help make sure we are safe in our assists. That's where we come in. You will be required to do 5 full class peer assists that are Elevate approved. Kaycie Hall & Lindsay Negrello will receive your assists along with select peers and provide you with feedback to help you feel confident and ready to share your touch! With our stamp of approval, you will not only be able to share your assists with others, but we hope to have you share them with us! Ask us about our assisting opportunities!
