Elevate Talk: Living With Purpose & Understanding the Subtle Body with Lama Brandy Davis

Join our guest speaker, Lama Brandy Davis for a 2 hour Talk

For so many of us, yoga has come into our lives as a blessing. It not only cures our various physical ailments and stymies the effects of time and gravity, but perhaps most miraculously, yoga has the power to set us free. In this two-hour workshop we will look at the anatomy of the subtle body: the system of channels and chakras, and the coursing of the inner winds and the thoughts which ride upon them. For at its core Hatha Yoga is a practice of transformation, rooted in the interpenetration of our physical, pranic, mental and ultimate bodies. Armed with the knowledge of how yoga works, we can empower our practice to effect transformation at the root of our deepest held patterns and instincts.

We will not need our mats for practice, but please come comfortable and ready to stay seated. We do have some props available for you to sit on, but if you have your own you'd like to use or will need a chair, please feel free to bring it.
